Information You Submit
A name, location, or other term entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that operates that search tool. This site does not keep its own log of those search terms. The provider’s policy applies to the query after submission.
If you send an email or contact message, the supplied details may be kept long enough to read and answer it. Messages are not shared outside the organization unless doing so is required by law or a valid legal order.
Technical Data and Cookies
Routine technical records may be created when a page loads. They can include:
- Internet Protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent
- Referring page or website
- Date and time stamps
Cookies may help measure use and keep site functions working. Browser controls can block or remove cookies, although some features may then behave differently.
How Information Is Used
Collected data may be used to:
- Operate, secure, and improve site performance
- Send a search request to the selected provider
- Understand which pages are useful
- Find errors and repair technical issues
- Display advertising that may reflect broad interests
Links Beyond This Site
Pages link to sheriffs, courts, corrections agencies, release-record resources, and outside search services. Once a visitor follows one of those links, the destination’s own privacy terms apply. Official Massachusetts public-record access is governed through sources such as M.G.L. c. 66, §10 and M.G.L. c. 4, §7(26), not by this private policy.
Advertising partners may measure activity across websites on their own systems. Their collection practices, opt-out choices, and retention rules are controlled by their policies.
Who May Receive Data
Personal information is not sold. Limited data may be received by search partners that process a query, analytics providers, advertising networks, and law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal demand. Massachusetts consumer protections, including M.G.L. c. 93A where applicable, remain separate from the public-record access rules that govern official agencies.
Reasonable Security Measures
Standard administrative and technical safeguards are used to reduce risk. No internet service, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed free from loss, misuse, interception, or unauthorized access. This notice does not promise breach-proof security.
Visitors Under Eighteen
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted personal data may use the Contact Us page to request review and deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to law and reasonable identity verification, a person may ask what personal data is held, request correction of inaccurate data, seek deletion, or object to certain processing. These choices apply to data controlled by this site. A request concerning a sheriff, court, corrections agency, search provider, analytics service, or ad network must be sent to that separate organization.
Changes to This Notice
This privacy notice may be revised as site features, providers, or legal duties change. A new version takes effect when posted here with its updated effective date.
