Terms & Conditions

By using Dukes County Released Inmates, you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site or its linked search tools.

This privately owned site has no affiliation with a government body, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department. Neither it nor its advertising partners offers an FCRA-covered service. It is not a consumer reporting agency or private investigation firm.

Nature of This Site

This is a private reference for locating official Dukes County and Massachusetts custody, release, and court resources. It stores no official jail or court records and cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, file a request, or act for a public office. Outside search tools are provided by separate companies.

Outside Resources

Links may lead to sheriff and corrections pages, court portals, public-record materials, legal resources, and third-party search services. A link is not an endorsement. This site does not control the destination’s content, data practices, prices, or availability. Review the destination’s terms before using it. Official Massachusetts agency records remain subject to laws such as M.G.L. c. 66, §10 and M.G.L. c. 4, §7(26).

No Warranties

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that information is complete, accurate, current, uninterrupted, secure, free of errors, or that a partner search will return every possible result. Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing here is an official statement from a sheriff, court, or corrections agency.

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its operators will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use, inability to use, reliance on content, or use of an outside link or service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable legal fees resulting from your use of the site, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

Ownership of Content

Unless stated otherwise, the original text, graphics, logo, layout, and code belong to Dukes County Released Inmates or its content partners. You may not copy, republish, distribute, sell, or modify protected material without prior written permission.

Changes and Access

These terms may be revised at any time, and the posted version takes effect when published. Access may also be suspended, limited, or ended at any time, for any lawful reason, without prior notice.

Massachusetts Law

These terms are governed by Massachusetts law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Massachusetts. Applicable consumer rights under M.G.L. c. 93A are not replaced by these terms.

Severability

If a court finds one part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force. The affected provision will be adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
